Great Witchingham ODE

Setting off with mixed feeling to Great Witchingham ODE, slightly nervous but mainly very excited and determined for a good run. With disaster striking early on the jeep decided to break down 15 miles from the event, stressed, lost, and in second gear we crawled to the event - arriving very late. Thankfully managing to delay to my dressage by 10 minutes I studded up, trotted round, watch the test before mine to confirm where I was meant to go; then heading down the centre Line. This was mine and Wizard's first BE Novice test together but with some nice movements we lead the field on a score of 32!

Meanwhile my mum was rushing around trying to find us a lift home! Next was the showjumping - with classes full there was no opportunity to course walk, thankfully we jump our most stylish round yet breezed through the treble combination for a clear round.

Woo despite all the drama things weren't going to bad. The XC looked fairly beefy but I have so much faith in Wizard for this phase I just need to make sure I'm with him. Dark clouds flooded the hill top ready for a pour down during my XC round - thankfully Wizard is a star and flew round inside the time and giving me a helping hand at a huge parrellel and at the coffin fence (a bit slower next time!)

So we won finishing on our dressage score. Woohoo, I'm over the moon &lots of carrots for Wizard ("yummee" he says!!)
